Synchronization clocks for SONET networks

SONET is not only means of distributing frequency synchronization (just like SyncE), SONET requires frequency synchronization in order to work (unlike SyncE). Wander is induced by pointer activity. Excessive relative wander causes slips in the T1 layer. The slip-rate affects the Quality-of-Service (QoS) perceived by the end-customer!Oscilloquartz offers a complete product range for SONET networks from PRC (Primary Reference Clocks) to NMS (Network Management System) going through TSG (Timing Synchronization Generator), GNSS Clocks (GPS/GLONASS) and SDU (Synchronization Distribution Unit). Sync Equipment are awarded with NEBS level 3.

OSA 3230B PRC and ePRC
