The ITSF 2015 conference will explore in depth Precise Frequency and Phase and Time which are becoming ever more critical in both wireline and wireless telecommunications, and increasingly for small cell and edge of network applications, and progressively more in power transmission, finance and defence.
In 4G (LTE, LTE-Advanced), and the evolution of cloud based networks, timing within and at the edge of the network is already a significant challenge and achieving resilient, accurate, yet low cost, UTC traceable timing solutions brings immediate benefits to capacity, range and service continuity. The critical role of timing in the network will only intensify in the future for the design and implementation of 5G.
This year the Steering Group has appointed Executive Industry Events, founded by Andrew Bateman, as event organisers for the conference, which will take place in Edinburgh from 3-5 November at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
ITSF 2015 is the thirteenth annual forum and is one of the largest annual conferences focusing on time and timing technology in telecom networks and other critical infrastructure applications.
