Maintaining the accuracy, reliability and trustworthiness of timing and synchronization systems is critical to ensuring operations, such as data center transfer or transaction processing, happen correctly and consistently. This is difficult enough to achieve, but those networks must also be made resilient to threats to the availability of precise timing information, such as jamming and spoofing attacks and ionospheric storms.
